Biofuels for better
Arbios Biotech is a clean energy company pioneering the future of biofuels. As they moved from pilot to production, they needed a brand that could speak clearly to investors, partners, and the public — and help them stand out in a growing clean energy space.
We were brought in to create a visual identity, along with a suite of communications that would reflect their credibility, ambition, and clarity of purpose. The result is a clear, confident identity designed to grow with the company — grounded in strong visuals, animations, and sharp messaging that brings their vision to life.





The Creation
Arbios came to us with a brand in need of focus and polish. We refined their visual identity to feel more cohesive and intentional — selecting a grounded colour palette, establishing clear typographic rules, and introducing custom icons to support key messages.
From there, we applied the system across a full suite of materials: trifold brochures, posters, pop-up banners, notebooks, business cards, ID cards, and branded stationery. We also brought the brand online with a new website that prioritized accessibility and structure. The result is a visual presence that feels clear, professional, and ready for growth.
Behind the scenes, we delivered an enterprise-grade website experience — built entirely within the WordPress ecosystem for long-term stability, performance, and ease of use. The editing interface is fully in-line and intuitive, allowing the Arbios team to update content directly on the front end — no toggling between back-end panels or templates. It’s the kind of editing experience typically reserved for large-scale organizations (e.g. WWF, IBM, NASA), adapted here for a high-growth cleantech company. There’s no reliance on fragile third-party tools — just a robust, secure foundation built to scale alongside the brand.



The Impact
Since launch, Arbios has continued to gain momentum — both in the industry and the public eye. The brand played a key role in supporting the announcement of their first Canadian commercial facility in Prince George, BC, now completed and operational. The company was also named a finalist for Scaleup Venture of the Year at the 2025 BC Cleantech Awards, recognized for its leadership in biomass conversion and clean energy innovation.
The new identity and digital presence helped position Arbios as a credible, future-focused player in Canada’s growing cleantech sector — with a brand built to scale alongside its ambitions.
