Website UX Strategist

The West Harbour is currently seeking a Website UX Strategist to join our team. This is a part-time hybrid role located in Vancouver, BC, with flexibility for some remote work. The Website UX strategist will be responsible for analyzing, researching, and developing website strategies that improve user experiences. The successful candidate will collaborate with web designers, marketing teams, and other professionals to develop website designs that align with brand objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Taking part in and leading website discovery sessions
  • Helping to strategize the overall website flow and structure based on project goals and best UX practices
  • Developing simple lo-fi prototypes in Figma for client approval
  • Working with copywriters on content/messaging strategy
  • A/B testing multiple landing page flows and global UX decisions
  • Assessing ongoing analytics and client data to help make strategic decisions

Qualifications

  • Experience with Figma and developing lo-fi prototypes
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Experience in user research, user testing, and website optimization
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas and designs effectively to clients and other stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Full home setup with a portable machine
  • You are an attentive listener who is able to take feedback well during in-person or on-screen reviews
  • You enjoy working within a team environment
  • You are able to be in regular communication and structure regular hours when working from home
